It's winter. The moment it dropped below zero (which it does most nights) all of the zombies would freeze solid (since their hearts don't beat, they don't regulate their internal body temperature, nor would their cells have the energy or fluids required to do so even if they did).

Then you could load them all up in a truck and incinerate them.

I wonder if there is a better way to get rid of zombies after they're frozen solid. If it is indeed winter, fuel should be a priority and incineration seems like such a waste. There should be a way to neutralize the zombies in situ so they don't need to be rounded up to be dealt with at another location.

LAZERS. Why didn't anyone think to mention lazers before? Get some high-intensity battery-powered lazers, burn their heads off their necks. Batteries are rechargeable via solar panel. Done.
