IA.

But I was not thinking about anyone doing something mandatory on a bigger scale to "suit everyone's needs". Just, if somebody dresses up as Santa, it doesn't matter who they are - black, Irish, or homosexual. Or, if somebody draws Santa/uses him in ads/movies, it could be fun to have some diversity (but not in a SJW we-need-more-Native-American-representation way, just... for the sake of creativity, seeing as he is a universal symbol).

eta: actually, I think Terry Pratchett already outdid everyone with his representation!Santa. Everyone else can go home. His Santa is the Death, ffs.

I have nothing against those things, I just don't agree with the article about how Santa must be non-white now to be relatable.
