If the show wants to give us Ichabod/Abbie eventually, they can do it without making Katrina evil or even in the way and fandom doesn't need to either."

I'm just chiming in to say ME TOO. <3 I do want to see Ichabod/Abbie, but I don't want it to be because Katrina is awful, and I want it to happen over time as Ichabod processes everything that's happened to his life, etc. But no, there is no need to turn Katrina evil to make that work, nor do I want it. It would make the ship way less fun if they took the easy way out.
