I was so happy that The Hobbit has songs - it was one of my great disappointments from the LOTR movies. I kept on waiting and waiting for singing, and it kept on not happening.

The one song I miss from LotR is the song that is the extended version of "The Cat and the Fiddle". I understand why it was left out - pacing and tension - but I miss it almost as much as I miss Elladan and Elrohir.
