I liked Olaf!

The trolls tho...

They were annoying and "Fixer Upper" was a song that was approximately 10 times longer than it needed to be and it messed with the pacing. Because like the story is all "Oh no! Anna's heart has been frozen! She needs help! ... Let's pause for a 5 minute long slightly comedic song!"

It kinda was a moment of necessary levity before everything went to the OH CRAP part, and it did give Anna the understanding that Elsa was still good even after cursing her heart, and that set up the final act.

Up until that point Anna was really ambivalent and hurt, it was the trolls words that made her focus again in saving Elsa.

I wasn't a fan of the song, but as a breather for the tense third act and Anna's character development, it worked well.
