eh, I don't mind the concept of "spideypool" (deadpool is pretty...flirtatious towards him after all. towards a lot of people, really, but still) as long as it isn't combined with that fucking "superfamily" shit like it often is. other than woobie!loki, that's my least favorite thing to come out of the avengers fandom

I get the impression that "superfamily" was around long before the MCU.

I'm not into it either. I prefer my Steve/Tony without a side order of random Spiderbaby.

No it wasn't. It was around before The Avengers, but definitely not before the MCU.

I had never seen it around before the MCU. I had seen comic verse fics way back when where Peter had a father/son-like relationship with Tony and/or Steve but not one where he was literally their son. Not saying it didn't happen, but I don't think it was prevalent enough to be a trend prior to the movieverse
