When I was a tiny kid in preschool, they had us singing Christmas carols.
I was convinced "Feliz navidad" was "police got my dad," and I sang it that way for AGES until some adult thought I was being rude and told me to stop that and sing the REAL words. :/ I really thought it was about someone having a terrible Christmas, but wishing a great one to everyone else because they're that much of a nice person... yeah, kid logic.
