I wasn't there for the wank, but the meme made it's way to HP fandom around the same time (there was some Draco manip where someone used the meme) and I've loved it ever since.

OH GOD I'D FORGOTTEN ALL ABOUT THAT. XD And I don't know how that's possible, because I thought it was hilarious and said it all the damn time. Never knew where it came from, though, aside from being about bad photoshops.

I think "I HAVE SPECIAL EYES" is pretty fandom-centric? I don't know, but I say it a lot and drive my poor boyfriend up the walls. It's gotten to the point where I only have to start snickering in the presence of an image of weird-looking eyes before he says "...NO. D:" Which is my cue to say it, natch.

There is one that I wish I could find, with Will from Hannibal and that dog he finds (I don't watch the show). But it is the dog walking thinking like, "Making my way downtown." And Will pulls up and goes, "Hi." And the dog goes, "Making my way downtown faster." Though it could be something about walking/walking faster. But it cracked my shit up.

I love a good meme so I will probably be coming back and adding more as I think of them, but what comes to mind right now is "original digimon do not steal". Because it is true.

e: The meme about making weird NSFW titles out of video game box art, whatever it's actually called.

I love all the permutations of "Surprise, bitch!" meme that showed up on Tumblr this week, but especially the Phantom of the Opera one. (And the Jesus one, but I've got that in my drafts for Easter). I don't know why I find it so fucking funny, even as it gets more and more played out. I don't even watch AHS and have no idea who the original girl is. But still.

I'm also really fond of the "Be strong, Clarence. Be strong for mother" thing (http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/be-strong-for-mother) despite, again, knowing absolutely nothing about Pokemon. I still laugh so hard.

I was rather taken with Shocked Patrick, and I didn't hate the Mishapocalypse as much as most people apparently did. Also, I'm not sure if it was ever a widespread thing outside its own Tumblr, but, David Tennant In Places He Shouldn't Be.
