Yeah, I could make the OP's argument for a lot of characters that get unfairly maligned for being "stupid." I particularly hate it when people calling the characters dumb for not figuring things out yet are spoiler hounds and have more information than even most of the fandom. Of course everything is "obvious" when you already know what's going to happen.
