Re: If this is in regards to the joke,
(I should note that I am talking about rape in a generalized stance. These guys would probably be furious and horrified if somebody dear to them was raped, but they would blow off news articles, shrug their shoulders, not give a shit about horrific crap like Steubenville and other similar examples, which are way too fucking common. But after being given a talking to about their rape jokes, they started to take things more seriously and recognize that, hey, there's a really big problem here.)
I don't think Martin Freeman is now an "OMG horrible person FOREVER" but I think that his joke does contribute to people taking rape in a general sense less seriously, and I am disappointed in him very much for that.
