Are we watching the same show? There was nothing romantic about their relationship. Zero. That's why Hannibal/Will will never happen.

The only way I can see Hannibal/Will is in a powerplay fashion that is dubcon or noncon that has absolutely nothing to do with romance or love.

And even that got even more unlikely than it already was, given the way the season ended up.

If anything, I would have seen Hannibal developing some kind of screwed up father/son, older brother/younger brother type relationship as he tried to see just how far he could push Will. Not so much lovers.
