Yeah, that's why I prefer my series to be mini. Like, no longer than ten episodes. After that they become shite, or at least there appear some episodes that are shite, and I find that I'm ill prepared to like works whose quality is greatly uneven. (also, longer series are in more danger of getting cancelled midway through. I hate long-ish cancelled stuff. It stays with me in the form of unfinished business)

I personally could not watch the last season (because of squicks), but I feel ya on the Chandler&Miles relationship. When I just began watching Whitechapel, I went looking for fic in hopes of finding some epic friendshippy gen, but no :/ Everything ever was Kent/Chandler, a pairing that is quite beyond me. Fandom, I'm disappoint.
