Yeah, I don't think I could have coped with dorms either.

Living with other people 24/7 and they're all up in my shit?

I do think I would have liked a little of university social life though, making friends seems easier with clubs and such

I did go to some clubs that I liked, though the one I enjoyed most was one where I knew the person who started it and got an explicit invitation, so I didn't have to feel out of place in the beginning. Clubs can either be a few awkward weeks where you feel like you might enjoy yourself if you ever actually get comfortable with these people until you finally give up, or a fun way to spend some time each week when the people are welcoming and compatible with you.
