I like big lecture halls because there's no pressure to interact with anyone. I like small discussion-based classes too but it makes me so anxious and takes so much energy. It's nice to be able to just listen sometimes.

You may have missed out on some fun times in the dorms if you're a social person, but personally I hated it. Luckily the disabilities office got me my own room when having a roommate was driving me crazy, but even then the dorms were stressful.

Yeah, I don't think I could have coped with dorms either.

Living with other people 24/7 and they're all up in my shit?
Aaagh! D:

I do think I would have liked a little of university social life though, making friends seems easier with clubs and such

I did go to some clubs that I liked, though the one I enjoyed most was one where I knew the person who started it and got an explicit invitation, so I didn't have to feel out of place in the beginning. Clubs can either be a few awkward weeks where you feel like you might enjoy yourself if you ever actually get comfortable with these people until you finally give up, or a fun way to spend some time each week when the people are welcoming and compatible with you.

I loved the big lecture halls myself. Small classrooms sucked.
