4. I feel the exact same way. Everyone just goes around yammering on about the pairings. Who cares? The show’s awesome with or without ships.

10. They do actually. In (some) Asian cultures, it normal for friends to show physical affection like holding hands. I think it’s normal in Russia too. I’m not sure though so don’t quote me. Just ‘cause westerns think it’s gay, doesn’t mean the whole world does too.

With that said, Yami and Yugi are so gay for each other. OMG. The way they talk to each other.

See, I'm FINE with that. My problem with Friska/Edgey is, like you said, the people who try to "sugarcoat" it. If you can write it well while taking, uh, everything else in their dynamic into account? Then my hat is definitely fucking off to you, and I can completely respect that--because they DO have a deep and dynamic relationship with one another.

It's the people who sugarcoat it and ignore what's already there that make me >_<

But kudos to you, OP. I can totally respect that.

04) Agreed so hard. Pairing wars are ridiculous, and it's blinding those crazy fans from seeing what's really awesome about Avatar to begin with. I have my preferred and disliked pairings, but it's all about the really well-written, captivating story.
11) Dub Urahara is dub Jyou in another life, so he wins. Then again, Original Urahara is original Kojirou, and I do love my Japanese Pocket Monsters. Eh, I still think Dub Urahara wins, too.

2. Fucking signed. Fran/Edgeworth is great if all the aspects of their relationship (which some might deem wrong when put together) is taken into consideration. They see each other as siblings and that much is obvious. It's pretty essential to their relationship so trying to ignore that is like shipping something OTHER than Fran/Edgeworth. Hell, it's because of that whole surrogate sister-brother thing that their relationship is dynamic and deep. I SHIP IT AND I HAVE NO REGRETS.

There's tooons of real incest fics out there; what's wrong with psuedo-incest?

Although, since I steer clear from the PW fandom (the bits I've seen has made me palm-face many many times) I don't exactly know how much sugarcoating goes on.
