Well, okay, but the Academy doesn't agree with you.

Not that I always agree with them, but a lot of other people (audiences, directors, fellow actors, etc.) seem to think she's great.

Is it based on one particular performance? Because a lot of things contribute to a performance, not just acting - writing, directing, editing, etc. and if any of those suck, it can sink a performance. But if you've seen her in more than one role (because she's had a lot of diversity in her career), then you're probably not going to change your mind (not that you have to, it's your opinion and you're entitled to it).

The Academy is always making choices that aren't that great in the long-run. Why is it surprising they dropped the ball on this one?
