Extreme canon purist shippers who are aggressive to non-canon shippers. I've seen this a lot in Disney fandom when it comes to non-canon or crossover ships, possibly enhanced by nostalgia goggles?

"HOW DARE YOU NOT SHIP THE CANON COUPLES AND ONLY THE CANON COUPLES. YOU ARE SPITTING IN THE FACE OF MY CHILDHOOD. MY. CHILDHOOD."

I agree with this.

I have some [mildly] bitter memories of anti-slash types from my fandom past. It's made me bitter to at least one canon pairing because of it.
