Re: Annoying shipper attitudes?

Het shippers tendency to act as though their ship is cannon if the male and female character interact a lot - even if it can be interpreted as just friends - and get either absolutely venomous or condescending if you suggest otherwise. Especially irate and condescending if you ship one of the characters in their ship in a slash or femmslash pairing.

I ship the woman(A) who's part of the big ship with male character (B) with male character (C) instead. AC just works better to me. I can't believe how some people who ship AB can sneer at the slightest suggestion that you ship AC or that it could be possible. They act like AB is canon when it really isn't despite there being potential.
