Re: Annoying shipper attitudes?

Insecure shippers in general bug me. That includes the "so-and-so is getting in the way of A/B's OTPNESS" haha i said penis attitude others have mentioned, but also this:

"WHY DOESN'T ANYONE ELSE SHIP MY SHIP???"

Um, because people don't ship it and no one has to justify it any more than you need to justify your love for your ship? I get that validation from another fan can be nice, but not everyone likes the same thing. Doesn't make your ship unworthy.

You really want to pitch this ship to the fandom, well, that's a good excuse as any for writing some fic, yes?

"WHY DOESN'T ANYONE ELSE SHIP MY SHIP???"

I hope no one thinks that of me and my OTP. I know it's nearly non-existent, and I only know of one other person who ships it (there may be others, but I don't know of them).

You know what? I don't care that my ship may only have two shippers in it! We're a happy little rowboat!

I know what you mean, Meems. Sometimes the smaller the ship, the less open it is to being targeted. So although it may escape someone's radar, it also means none of the drama.
