Don't you have to be in amazingly good health, though? And since she has down syndrome... It would be more interesting if it was her and not Zoe, but IDK.

I've heard debate on either side. One side thinks she's excluded flat out because of her being born with Down Syndrome while others argue that since the abilities to be the Supreme emerge later she could be exhibiting perfect health now regardless of her genetics.

On the other hand - since the whole needing perfect health - I'm wondering if Cordelia is going to pop up as the Supreme since it seems like the scarring around her eyes cleared up quickly. It could also help explain her inability to conceive if her body was experiencing in the influx of powers.

Have they ever referred to Nan as having Down Syndrome onscreen? Obviously Jamie Brewer has it, so it would seem to follow the character did too, but usually the Ryan Murphy School of Screenwriting would have another character mention she had DS at least every other episode and I don't think anyone's ever actually said it. Maybe we're supposed to think the actress has it but the character doesn't?

Not that it's necessarily a factor on the who's-the-next-Supreme issue, it's just something I've been wondering about,

I thought it was mentioned? And that's why they said she couldn't be the supreme, because she was "you know"?

Madison mentioned it in the first ep, I think, when Zoe was meeting everyone. of course she said it in a very un-PC way.
