Re: 11 to 12...Whovians, how was it? MIGHT HAVE SPOILERS WITHIN.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm so easy for callbacks, I loved having a bunch of baddies all at once; and Eleven taking the slow path was beautiful. It's been a long while since there was a Doctor who could actually stay in one place for a while without going bugnuts, and it was wonderfully reassuring for me that the Doctor is now in a mental place where he can slow down for a while. And what a nice regeneration--I hate the regenerations with a feeling of bitterness about them, like Two being forced out by the Time Lords or Ten clinging childishly to his current body and having to be dragged away kicking and screaming. Regeneration is a loss but not a death, and I felt like the trip from Eleven to Twelve was just right.

Intrigued by Capaldi in what little we got of him...he did sound almost American at times, presumably a side effect of him messing with his native Scottish accent, so we'll see if that evens out. What angry eyebrows he's got!

He's not messing with his accent, though. He gets to keep his accent, unlike Tennant.
