I have no helpful comments except that the very second I started reading this comment, a Beatles song came up on my computer ("All My Loving"). There's nothing wrong with not liking something the majority of other people like. I'd recommend not getting into arguments about it though, especially not in person; you don't seem to have any rationale for your dislike, and fans will likely have a long list of attributes they like about their music, complete with a certain amount of nostalgia and memories attached to listening to it.
