sad DC fangirl

It's actually funny that DC pushes to be so much more gritty and 'realistic' in their movies and new comics reboot, when DC comics for ages was always known to be cheesier, and over the top than Marvel (Marvel comics being the somewhat more realistic and grittier alternative).

I miss the old DC. I feel sad whenever someone thinks that is DC 'darker' and 'grittier' than Marvel. That's not how it always was. DC used to be proud of their fantastical storylines, happy endings, and corny heroes :-(
