You might change your mind after you actually read the rest of the books re: Stannis and Dany.

It's ironic that you call Stannis a cheat but you supported Renly for the Iron Throne. Renly had no lawful claim to the throne. He just wanted it and he was able to get powerful allies to support him because as single man he could marry their daughter and make her queen. What kind of precedent does that set? If he'd become king, how would he enforce inheritance laws that he himself had actually ignored?

i've read all the books and I haven't changed my mind at all re: both stannis and dany.

well... stannis is a cheat (and a fucking coward). not to mention he had no claim to the crown either, since robert was an usurper. the only one with rightful claim to the thrown is dany.

so blaming renly for not having the claim to it feels kinda empty when in truth stannis has no greater claim to it.
.
(+ i wouldn't ever want a king that gets his own brother murdered.)

Actually, they do have a claim to the throne because they're also descendants of the Targaryens. That was the whole reason Robert took the Iron Throne in the first place.
