How can House Stark be your least favorite when House Frey is right there? And the Greyjoys! They're both begging to be despised! I'll give you that the Starks have more honor than brains.

Stannis frustrates me. He seems like a good man, but he'd be a rotten king. He only got this far because of Melisandre, not on his own merit.

Asha is the only worthy Greyjoy. All the others are awful. And don't get me started in how despicable the Freys are.

Eh, say what you will about Theon, but at least he's interesting, well developed, and his chapters saved aDwD from being a truly terrible book. I also think Victarion is pretty entertaining despite being a terrible person.

Also, not all the Freys are bad nor should they be painted with the same brush. GRRM sort of goes out of his way to get that across.

I never said Theon or Victarion weren't good or entertaining characters :'D I just said they're TERRIBLE PEOPLE. Most of the main players of the Game of Thrones are indeed awful persons, but there's something about the Greyjoys that make them very creepy to me, except for Asha, whom I thought was very very badass and deserved seniority better than anyone else in her family.

The Freys as a house are awful too, but I'm aware not all the individual Freys are terrible; as well.

Sure, the Iron islanders are murderous bastards and whatnot, but that doesn't in any way compare to the endless parade of "Oh I'm a Stark and I'm so sad and honorable and clearly the best." that GRRM likes to go on.

To be frank I just started skipping Bran chapters by book 3 and would have done the same with Jon if my friend hadn't assured me that he stopped being such a whiny little louse.
