it's maybe too late for me to bother adding this (anyone still here? ahaha) but I would love for everyone to check out this video! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fWDHYbW1Et8 I felt like she brought up some pretty good points.

in case she's unfamiliar, this girl in question has some other awesome videos (one about "fake" geek girls for instance). I realize I'm shamelessly advertising her but I feel like she deserves way more views than she gets.

THANK YOU for the plug! I'm watching her videos, and I freaking love her! She's fair, she's funny, she even addresses common complaint and misunderstandings before they happen (like I immediately started thinking, when she mentioned how there are few female-led superhero movies, that someone is going to bitch that she wants to take away their male superheroes! but she instantly says 'nope, nuh uh, not what I'm saying').

She's awesome.

Yeah, I don't agree with Angelina entirely on this, but I can always respect her opinions on stuff.

She kind of convinced me to go see it, and I'm kind of meh on comic movies in general (but a huge part of that is because they're all male-focused).

Also I didn't realize how much I wanted a Batwoman and also a Harley & Ivy movie but I agree with secret 2 on the costume design and I really didn't like the tone of the current DC movies I've seen...so, they'd have to do it right but my definition of right is different from everyone else's definition of right and admittedly I mostly know these characters through cultural osmosis. But current Batwoman is a lesbian, yes? Oh my god can you imagine if they did a quality movie and kept that in and yeah that's never gonna happen is it...
