I hope your sister's dog gets better soon, and that the mess isn't too difficult to clean up!

Me? I spent most of the day having fever-hallucinations from a combination of shingles and a bad cold. I'm feeling a bit better now, though, and I think it's partially because my own dogs have been extra-clingy towards me all day, though, which is nice and comforting as long as they're just cuddling up next to me and not stepping on my boobs, breathing their horrible zombie swamp-ass breath in my face and/or trying to smother me. I am, in fact, typing this from under one of them.

AAAAAAGGGGH shingles are basically my worst most paranoid nightmare. I am seriously considering getting the vaccine. Everyone I've ever known who's had it has suffered immensely. Freaks me out. :-(

(Before you ask, there was no vaccine for chickenpox when I was growing up, only measles/mumps/rubella.)

Forgot to add, best wishes for a speedy recovery. :-( Not fun.

Thanks! This is, unfortunately, not my first rodeo. I'm definitely getting the vaccine after this clears up. I seriously do not want to go through this again.
