I adopted a new bunny! My first lop! I initially thought they were funny-looking, but over the years decided they were kind of cute, and maybe I'd like to have one someday, but since I only do rescue rabbits and a lop had not presented itself in all these years until this past winter, he's my first opportunity. (He's currently digging in the carpet next to my bed, thinking mistakenly that there may be food down there. XD)

And so many accomplishments on the cosplay front, holy crap. I wound up being interviewed and photographed for a book, won a free pass to one of my usual conventions via a cosplay contest, made one of my dream costumes (Leknaat, from the Suikoden games), made a couple costumes that involved elaborate prosthetics which came out AMAZINGLY and confused/impressed a lot of people (Vivi from Final Fantasy IX, Kapp'n from Animal Crossing), and finally got around to finishing and doing some shoots with a couple versions of an original costume I put together. And got to be a part of some amazing shoots in general, and met some really great people with whom I'm going to be doing groups and photoshoots with again as soon as February. :D

...Now that I went looking, I'm finding all kinds of other stuff, and this isn't even half the awesomeness that happened in cosplay this year. Despite being a crap year on most other fronts, the cosplaying sure was a complete and utter blast, and it can only get better in the coming year since I improved my skills AND met other people who want to join me for shenanigans. :D

Thank you! And yes, so floppy. SO FLOPPY. I knew the ears would be floppy of course, but Bear is just such an utterly chill bun. Once he's down, he's not getting up - you just will have to step around him. XD

And that's probably why he actually managed to win over Jasmine, also in one of those pictures - she's uptight and aggressive and hates all other rabbits... except Bear. Who she snuggles mercilessly.

Thank you! I was just realizing, the stuff that went on with that particular hobby is about the only reason I wouldn't write off 2013 as a complete waste of existence. ;)
