Looking back on 2013

Let's celebrate the end of the year with remembering good times. It can be something major (having a baby/graduating from school) or something minor (like beating a level on Plants Vs Zombies).

After 3 years of applying, I finally got a job offer for a job in the public service. :D It doesn't start till 2014 though. :C

I've had my resignation for the job I loath accepted. >:D

Oh! I finally found a friend for my rabbit and they're adorable together.

Aww, I like this thread. I played some good games this year, the latest Professor Layton (I swear those puzzles are getting more and more interesting) and Pokemon XY. I had my first experience having a job and real money, too.

Finished the courses for my first Associate's Degree! :) Still have a lot of school ahead of me (getting a second Associate's degree at community college that will be done by summer, and double majoring with a minor at university/for Bachelor's degree), but I'm also still pleased about that bit. :)

- Became class president
- My mum bought me a Mac and some furniture I needed so I've had more money than usuall this year
- I'm sure I picked the correct thing to study
- It is made by a German teacher thoMy health have been surprisingly good, less pain than I've had the last couple of years
- Got to know some of you guys better!

Survived that Car Crash! Don't have the picture on me right now or I'd post it again of what the car looked like, but basically the radiator of the car I was in was now part of the engine.

I quit retail forever, got a volunteer position where I've built a bunch of skills, and made connections that led to a paying job actually doing what I went to college for.

Passed my finals with great marks, which was a huge relief since I was so worried I would fail everything. Yaaaaay. \o/

Also: AFTER ALLOWING IT TO COLLECT DUST ON MY BOOKSHELF FOR YEARS, I FINALLY GOT AROUND TO READING PRIDE AND PREJUDICE. AND IT LIVED UP TO THE HYPE.

I graduated college. :) Even though the job search hasn't been as fruitful as I would have hoped, I'm still proud that I managed to get through my last semester and do the work to graduate with honors. :)

I met someone who has become a very important part of my life and in turn, I am in hers, too.

I also made great strides in personal growth after being in a depressive rut for nearly two years. 2014 will bring more changes if I can keep myself going (and I will make sure that I will).

I started my real job (uh, waitress? is that a real job, yes?) and discovered that I can be much more than a useless shut in. And now I have enough money to pursue my dream and go to study in Japan in a few month! I'm so happy! Hope that 2014 will be even better! :)

I adopted a new bunny! My first lop! I initially thought they were funny-looking, but over the years decided they were kind of cute, and maybe I'd like to have one someday, but since I only do rescue rabbits and a lop had not presented itself in all these years until this past winter, he's my first opportunity. (He's currently digging in the carpet next to my bed, thinking mistakenly that there may be food down there. XD)

And so many accomplishments on the cosplay front, holy crap. I wound up being interviewed and photographed for a book, won a free pass to one of my usual conventions via a cosplay contest, made one of my dream costumes (Leknaat, from the Suikoden games), made a couple costumes that involved elaborate prosthetics which came out AMAZINGLY and confused/impressed a lot of people (Vivi from Final Fantasy IX, Kapp'n from Animal Crossing), and finally got around to finishing and doing some shoots with a couple versions of an original costume I put together. And got to be a part of some amazing shoots in general, and met some really great people with whom I'm going to be doing groups and photoshoots with again as soon as February. :D

I finally finished Mass Effect 2(still have ME3 to go I know, I am sloooooooooow). And I finally got myself a box to put a bunch of toys in because the box I was using was not suited to the task.
