I finally finished Mass Effect 2(still have ME3 to go I know, I am sloooooooooow). And I finally got myself a box to put a bunch of toys in because the box I was using was not suited to the task.

Congrats on beating a game! I am a pretty terrible game player so that is a major achievement to me.

I'm one of those people that barrels through a game when I'm actually playing it but once I stop? It'll take me months to pick it up again.

I hear a lot about the Mass Effect series, what was your favorite part about the second game?

I really enjoyed doing the loyalty missions for most of the characters, some of them were a bit lacklustre(for example Garrus is one of my fave characters but his loyalty mission is rather forgettable) but overall I had fun. And I really liked getting to see more of the reapers and coming up with all sorts of ideas about them while my bf, who has finished the games, was sat holding his tongue so he didn't spoil me for the third game.

Also romancing Garrus, ha.

:)

I enjoyed watching my husband play those games.

The entire reason I got into the series was from watching my bf play the first game, I love the worldbuilding in the ME series. And it helps that the games are pretty too.

*nods*

I don't play video games myself, and I usually don't like to watch them (I about wanted to kill every guy I knew in 1997 for the relentless Goldeneye playing LOL), but I like these games Josh is playing now that we have a PS3 like Skyrim and ME and others that are pretty to look at and tell interesting stories.

I enjoy playing games myself but I also really like the games that you can watch someone else play, 'cause sometimes I don't want to play the game but I want to see the story unfold.

(GOLDENEYE GAMING MARATHONS FTW. :P)

They really have, it's pretty damn impressive tbh and while I might complain a bit sometimes about the quality of games(because there is a lot of dross out there) much like with anything else there is good stuff out there, you just have to find it.
