Nothing too absurd, but things that could potentially happen if you are lucky or work your ass off, or stick to your resolutions. Where do you see yourself on Dec. 31, 2014?

I am just begging and praying (and applying, obviously) for a real grown-up job.

I want to have finally finished my book, moved back out of my parents house, and be happy and active. I think it's all do-able if I actually buckle down and work really hard.

Dude! Are you kidding me?! I can't even see where I'll be at the end of NEXT WEEK!

...upon reflection this maaaaaaaaay not be a good thing...

Well in general I hope nobody blows up the Olympics (or anywhere else, really!). And on Dec 31 2014 I want to be a grad school applicant with a driver's license.

I hope I will have completed and successfully submitted a book for publication. I hope I will get into grad school. I hope I will find a girlfriend who I'm serious about.

Get a short story published.

I want health. I went out tonight and bought some supplements that anecdotal advice around the net suggests being helpful for the condition I'm really highly suspicious that I have, and thanks to Obamacare I may be able to see a doctor finally and get the antibiotics that would actually make it go away for good. (I also bought some other stuff that may help with the issues but it's sorta TMI. And I'm skeptical about the supplements because twice now in threads of people talking about how it cleared things up for them, I've encountered someone who went "By the way, it works best if you chase it with colloidal silver!" and uh, that's like the medical equivalent of referencing an Onion article to back up your actual news story. :P)

I don't know if even if my condition improved tomorrow, I'd be able to gain back the 30-40 pounds I really want to gain within a year, but maybe the 15-20 pounds I desperately NEED to gain.

Primarily, I hope to be in the university of my choice, or at least one of my preferred choices instead of my safety-net choices.

Secondarily, a job (or at least a really good internship).

Elsewise, I hope to have professionally published SOMETHING, whatever it may be.

Also, I hope to be back in shape and doing some kind of regular exercise. :)

Maybe I'll finally be done with the thing I started writing this summer. ~~Stupid goddamn hitman story argh why did you turn in to a novel?~~

Otherwise, things will probably be pretty much the same. Which is a good thing and means that a plague of locusts didn't descend on me or something during the interim. XD

...I really hope to have a dog and maybe be renting my own place! *fingers crossed*
