It's so stupid but it drives me nuts when fanfiction says he dyes his hair blond. First off, it's not even blond, more like an ashy brown. And second, hair is usually darker at the roots so it would make sense for it to be darker where his hair is shaved and lighter where it's longer.

If you've ever written a story for the "Conversion Bureau" shared universe, and it wasn't a parody or an attack on the premise, I won't read, comment on, or acknowledge the existence of anything you've ever written.

As a rule of thumb, most multi-author settings in this fandom are creepy as fuck, but the Conversion Bureau takes it to a whole new level, and authors who're willing to write for it tend to put their misanthropy into all their other stories. Usually at length.

There are so many things about this book that are gross and wrong and just plain stupid... which is why I feel ashamed for enjoying it so much. I'm still halfway in denial about the fact that I kind of ship her with Ido. (And by "kind of" I mean "absolutely".) I can't even count the number of ways that is terrible and fucked up.
