I can't give an informed opinion on what her hair smells like in-character or in real life (in the latter case I would guess that at the time it probably smelled mostly of 80s hairspray), though I imagine that in-universe Troi probably has access to all sorts of awesome 24th-century hair products and would probably choose something pleasant and tasteful. Also, I don't even care that her Troi-hair is mostly fake, it makes me smile and I just want to fluff it.
