I haaaaate it was the whole "it was all a dream" trope.

It's such an easy cop out to explain any inconsistencies and usually doesn't have any effect on the real setting beyond "oh lol what a weird dream."

I don't hate it if it's a dying dream especially if it's done well, but if it isn't a dying dream then it tends to annoy me.
