I will probably play it when there's a price drop, but honestly, I am so sick of grizzled white dudes fatherhood journeys that any anticipation or excitement I had about the game died the second I saw the promos.

Also sick of zombie apocalypses.

Put the two of them together and no fucks given. Only the rave reviews have made me even want to play it second hand/borrow it from a friend. Of course, there's almost no point now, because said raving has spoiled the entire fucking plot and the ending.

...No, these are zombies. Fungus zombies. Only slightly more creative than virus zombies, and only if you've somehow missed the half a billion articles on Ophiocordyceps unilateralis there've been on pop science sites, Reddit, the io9, and Cracked over the past couple of years.
