As a sister, the movie rang SO true to me.

My sister and I were close as kids, but we grew apart as teenagers for various reasons. We were both going through the drama filled teenaged years at the same times. My sister was kinda struggling to figure out who she was. I was wrapped up in my own friends. Etc etc.

But we finished growing up and were content in who we were as people and I think that allowed us to become friends again.

And now she's honestly my best friend.

So yeah, Frozen and the relationship between the sisters hit really close to home for me. Because even in those years when my sister and I weren't close, I would have gone climbing a mountain to find her and save her because I still loved her and she was my sister.

My younger sister and I are still in the "do you want to build a snowman" stage and she caught on to that, which was kinda funny but also sad. She really liked the movie, so I hope she realises I still love her even though we're more distant (literally, there's an ocean between us instead of a door)


So I quite liked the sisterly story line, especially the true love sister-bit. It was nice to sit down with my sister to watch a movie about sisters being sisters XD

That said I have a friend who won't touch frozen because her sister become more and more distant every year and it's really sad that they're not working out.
