I didn't have the opportunity to be on the internet as a teen, but I can imagine that I would have dived into fandom head first. LOL

I'm 34 and most of the people I regularly interact on my LJ/DW friend's lists are the same age or older than me. My best fandom friend is in her early sixties, the same age as my dad.

Most of the people I hang out with in fandom who are younger than me are in this community. Sometimes I feel my age when people are posting about their teenage lives and sometimes I feel exasperated, but mostly I enjoy interacting with people of all ages and I think it enriches fandom to have that spectrum.
