Yeah, but not everybody is insecure like that.

I know lots of people are insecure about their age or looks, but some people just enjoy life while they are still alive. If you wanna worry about it you have every right to but your just stressing yourself out.

Everyone dies. Some die young, some die in an accident, some die of old age. It's inevitable so just enjoy life while you have it. You shouldn't stress over something you have no control over. And you shouldn't ever stop doing something you enjoy because of your age. As long as you can keep up with life responsibilities and your not hurting anyone, no one can tell you your doing wrong.

This. I turned 30 this past year and it wasn't a big deal at all to me. I still consider myself to be young and I'm still having fun in fandom, so I don't see myself leaving it anytime soon. Sure, I have a job and adult responsibilities, but it's not as if those suddenly render you unable to have fun. Hell, my parents are in their 70s and I think they were more excited over the Hobbit movies than I was.
