You know, I could scream "bisexual erasure!" right back at you and be equally pissed off. I'm not even bi, I'm an out lesbian, and even I know better than to make these kinds of affirmations.

We live in a society in which, unless you're wearing a rainbow pin/scarf/bracelet; or being undeniable romantically affective in public with a same-sex partner; EVERYONE ASSUMES "STRAIGHT UNTIL PROVEN OTHERWISE". We're all straight-passing unless the context and/or behavior screams "not straight".

The fact that we have to hide our sexual orientation, and that that absolutely sucks, ranging from "depressing" to "life-thretenly stressful, because if I don't pass as straight my status as a living person is in danger" is another thing completely; and does not give anyone a free-card to hate on bisexuals.
