perhaps you didn't like the fact that ZQ didn't want to validate your ship?
He's entitled to think that fanfictions are a loss of time, you know, especially if his only experience with this subculture is those fans who keep asking him if he likes kirk/spock slash even though he had said he wasn't interested already, show him porn fanarts and ask him if he's fucking one of his friends (Pine).
sorry but Quinto - a gay man in real life whose homosexuality is used as a pretext to validate someone's slash ship - gets my sympathy more than a bunch of fangirls whose feelings are hurt because the actors are humans too and they might like or not like their thing.
