The only interesting characters in Korra are Tenzin and Lin. Asami is also 100x more bland and uninteresting than Mai was. It's a shame she wasted a spot that could have been filled with a female character that had flaws and personality.

I think DreamWorks is better than Pixar.

If Asami was saved from being an Equalist baddie by Bryke, why didn't they do anything with her?
Also, Dreamworks has some really good movies under their belt so I kinda agree (still have hope for Pixar, especially after MU which I loved)

They like her too much to give her any substance, I guess. Being plot fodder for the other characters is apparently their idea of good use, lol.

I think DreamWorks takes more chances than Pixar. And DW goes a lot farther with their female designs than Pixar or Disney do.

This, I cannot agree with this enough. I'd kill for an Tenzin and Lin spinoff with them being awesome together. And I don't get the Asamii love myself, she's so fucking bland.

For my money, Pixar still has a higher good-to-bad ratio overall. But Dreamworks has a far better ratio for its recent output and I think they're going in a better direction than Pixar is.

Agree that Asami is a bland, totally overblown character, but Tenzin is also a snooze. Lin's cool... I just don't care about her. I usually love hard asses but not her.



As for Dreamworks: you are wrong. So so wrong. HTTYD was a B+ at best.

Personally, I found their earlier stuff really boring. Finding Nemo, Monsters Inc., and UP are so eh to me. Yeah the beginning to up is sad, but that's all that stood out to me personally. The only Pixar movies I've liked were the Incredibles and Brave.

Agree with Asami. Nothing against her personally, I just think she had nice potential that never really went anywhere. Never understood why so many people ship her and Korra together other than they're both pretty girls that talk to each other sometimes.

... Actually, when I think about it, they don't really have many one on one conversations.
