yeah...

i think it's better on a rewatch because you know what parts are truly horrendous so it's not as much of a cringeworthy surprise the second time around and you can focus on the good bits of the episode that aren't fragmented to hell or oversaturated with filters/lensflare. there's a good storyline hidden beneath the poor writing. but overall it wasn't up to standard at all.

Ok, so it wasn't me being completely out of it... it just felt different. Yes. the filters were WAY too much too, it looked so polished and cold and fake. But I have never felt this way during the previous eps so I suppose this was overdone.

I'll try to rewatch it though, maybe it'll grow on me. Crossing fingers for next parts, hoping the pampering to fans won't become the status quo for this new season. Meh. I'm so afraid for the new villain.
