Yeah, Dobby's was sad, if not as surprising as Sirius's. When Harry told Dobby to never try to save his life again in CoS, I was like "Yeah, Dobby's going to die saving Harry's life again." Of course Sirius's shouldn't have been so surprising... if I'd been more familiar with the fantasy/sci fi genre, I probably wouldn't have been remotely surprised.
