It was -24C this morning without the wind chill. :< I had to close my apartment window because it was a bit cold. This makes me sad, I like the fresh air.

I am sick of trying to de-ice my car though, it's a pain in the butt.

De-icing the car is the worst part about extreme cold.

Isn't it though?! I actually said fuck it and just walked to work last week because my car was encased in about four inches of ice and like hell I was even going to get close to de-icing it without being ridiculously late for work.

I wish I lived close enough to where I had worked or where the interviews are that I could walk, but most importantly I have a munchkin with me and I have to drop her off at daycare first.

Yeah, I'm lucky that it's only a half hour walk to work and normally I do walk, it's just been so cold (-25C!) lately that it's better for my health to drive.
