I kinda thought this was a huge point of the entire 7th book?

That it's not the heroic "big" deaths that hit people hardest, but the smaller, sideline, or more "innocent" deaths that are most devastating. I know a lot of people found Fred Weasley's death a lot sadder than Dumbledore's, and I distinctly remember the movie theater being full of sobbing during Dobby's death in a day I don't recall many other places in the movies, or any movies really...

I cried so hard when Dobby died the lady next to me asked if I was okay. I'd been so worried about Hedwig I forgot about Dobby.
