I met my girlfriend on OKC.

I noticed that the girl/girl side of the site seems very "we'll start out seeing if we make good friends and then if something happens from there that'd be cool too" based on my experience. Could just be me though.

I called myself a feminist in my profile but I didn't require that from the people I messaged, just as long as they didn't go on any anti-feminist screeds.

I have to say that I find the "lesbian until graduation" idea pretty offensive but I suppose if you're worried about that then you're better off staying away from the women who trigger that in you and not inflicting those worries on another person.

Other advice to anyone who uses these sites: try to start a real conversation when you message someone. Not just a "hey", but something that shows that you actually read their profile and share some interests.
