Re: Internet dating - experiences?

I've gone on a few dates from OKC and dated someone I met on there for a few months. I haven't gotten many creepy messages. As I'm a woman looking for men, I'm afraid I can't help with much with what the woman looking for woman atmosphere is like.

What I look for in messages is an interesting opener that seems like they at least glanced at my profile, not just a generic message they send to anyone. A simple "hey" isn't very attention grabbing. It helps if they ask a question or something that can lead into conversation.

I look for similar interests in a profile, and if I like what I see, I'll check the questions they've answered. It's a good way to head off certain stuff early on.
