Everyone's body is different. Not everyone's breasts/nipples are sensitive. Nor thighs. Nor clits. If you do get aroused (reading/thinking/whatever about things) just go with what feels good to you and see where it takes you. I personally found it MUCH easier to find what worked for me when I was alone.

Once you know what specific brand of touching gets you off, you can share it with partners, if you so desire.

THIS

EVERYONE is different and all bodies react differently. Someone touching my boobs does nothing for me at any point, but caressing the lower part of my stomach, oooooooh!

This.

Though for me it's my lower back.

For the love of everything, bite my neck...

Seriously. Both men's and women's bodies and sexual response patterns vary WIDELY. People shouldn't feel ashamed or defective just because they're not like someone in fiction, any more than they should feel ashamed because they have brown eyes and someone in a story has blue eyes.

Not to mention, fanfic has a habit of making every character super sensitive and aroused at practically anything. Sensitive nipples, sensitive necks, sensitive thighs, sensitive stomachs. Hell, some characters get wet or full-on boners every time their lover looks at them. It's hot to read. But the average irl person is no where near that sensitive.
