Atlanteans, from Young Justice. They're people who breathe, travel, and even eat underwater at all times, and I can't imagine they excrete right where they float like fish do, so where and how do they go? And how do they keep it from drifting away and tainting the area? Atlantis is an advanced city, so they must have sewers and sewage treatment, but they're always underwater. It just bugs me.

(Anonymous) 2014-01-11 05:27 am (UTC)(link)I also wonder about Ariel when she turns into a human. Does she pee and poop like a human or a fish when she's a mermaid (I would assume like a fish, but you never know)? It seems unlikely that they would have toilets under the sea so is she soiling herself or is she running out to the ocean every time she needs to do her business when she's human until someone explains it to her?
