People can't apologize and change if you don't tell them they did something wrong. Though, with what little information I have I would say they have nothing to apologize for.

Well, it wasn't just the comparisons. That was just the last straw in a long line of put-downs. I didn't even realize they were making fun of me until one of my cousins pointed out that a lot of what has been said to me about me over the years has been very negative. So I stopped talking to the bad ones.
